I strongly recommend the MSc in Economics at IBS to people who aim to pursue a professional career in any field related to this subject. It allies the commonly acknowledged feature of IBS professors, who are available to support students every time they need it, with a proper balanced hard and soft-skill development. On the one hand, hard skills are fostered essentially in classes, both theoretical and practical. On the other hand, the soft skills I would refer to as relevant are personal organization and compromise, since students develop them naturally in order to successfully achieve their own-proposed goals, as far as the program is concerned. The latter is fundamental for individual enrichment regarding some of the characteristics that organizations find more attractive when looking for an employee nowadays. Without taking this master I would not have been able to achieve my short-run professional objectives, which is definitely a necessary condition to achieve the long-run goal I set for myself.
