Completing a degree in Psychology enables students to:

1. to continue their studies in Psychology in second-cycle courses;
2. full mobility to any university in the country or in Europe (Bologna);
3. entering the job market in roles that require the general skills acquired in the first cycle of university education, under the supervision of a psychologist.

Since practicing as a psychologist is contingent upon passing both cycles of university-level psychology training (bachelor's and master's degrees), anyone wishing to practice the profession and become a member of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists must continue their psychology training in a master's program.
