The company managing the Portuguese stock exchange, NYSE Euronext Lisbon, has announced the 3rd edition of the “Scientific Research in the Portuguese Capital Market” award, a competition hosted by the company as part of its effort to cherish and divulge scientific research on capital markets.

The award is part of a broader initiative, the NYSE Euronext Lisbon Awards, which recognizes bond issuers, financial intermediaries and other entities or individuals who have distinguished themselves in the Portuguese capital market.

The deadline for applicants is November 30th 2012 and the conditions can be consulted here.

The prize will be announced in a public ceremony to take place in January 2014. A concrete date will be announced on the NYSE Euronext website ( www.bolsadelisboa.com.pt) and in the media.
