Director(s) message
The future we build collectively depends, to a large extent, on education, its quality, its diversity and its power to transform lives and communities. In the Master's Degree in Education and Society, you will find a team of qualified, approachable lecturers with strong links to research and intervention in real contexts, committed to a more just, inclusive and transformative education.
Our students come from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, including schools, adult education, community intervention, local authorities, NGOs, among many other contexts. This diversity is a fundamental asset of the course: it generates dialogue, critical thinking and a tremendous desire to make a difference in policies, institutions and territories.
This is a solid master's degree, in operation since 2001, with growing demand and strong institutional recognition. The curricular internship allows for a concrete approach to the job market and different educational contexts, while the International Conference Cycle connects students with national and international experts who research and work in the field, in formal and non-formal education, in multiple social realities.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you on this journey and to reflect with you on the challenges of education in contemporary societies.
