On 18th and 19th September, Iscte hosted the welcome session for students enrolled in the Erasmus Mundus Global-MINDS Master's programme - Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society.
There are 16 new students from 12 different countries who will be spending the first semester of their studies at Iscte. In the second semester, students will travel to Ireland (University of Limerick) to continue their studies. In the final year of the Master's programme, they may return to Iscte or remain at the University of Limerick.
At Iscte, Global-MINDS students will attend joint classes with students from the Master's Degree in Psychology of Intercultural Relations, thus promoting their integration at Iscte, as well as interaction with students from different backgrounds and nationalities.
This is already the third edition of Global-MINDS, coordinated by a consortium comprising the University of Limerick (coordinator), Iscte (Portugal) and partners SWPS University (Poland) and the University of Oslo (Norway), which participate in the remaining Master's programmes.
The Erasmus Mundus joint teaching programmes are funded by the European Commission and enable students to obtain a joint Master's degree after a mobility programme in several countries, with the support of a monthly scholarship awarded for 24 months.
