For the last decades, the ECSAS has benn an important plataform for debate and illustration of contemporary trends in South Asia studies worldwide. The ECSAS conferences are held biennially under the auspecies for the European Association for South Asian Studies (ECSAS), a professional, non-profit organization of scholars engaged in research and teaching concerning South Asia with regard to all periods and fields of study.

Scholars and students from any field of research related to the South Asiar region are inveted to participate in the 22nd European Conference on South Asian Studies (ECSAS) in Lisbon. All information can be found here.
