Álvaro Rosa is a professor of Management. His areas of research and study are Strategy, Governance and Cross-Cultural Management. In addition, he is also a researcher and teacher of Chinese Studies, namely Contemporary China. Currently, he is the Director of Master Degree in Chinese Studies, a joint program of University of Aveiro and ISCTE - IUL. Professionally, he is a coach and trainer in negotiation techniques.

Com um doutoramento em Gestão pela Universidade de Tilburg nos Países Baixos, Ana leciona na Iscte Business School sobre os temas de Gestão Estratégica e Sustentabilidade, Ética e Responsabilidade Social.   Como investigadora na Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte), o seu trabalho tem aparecido em vários pontos de publicação, incluindo o Journal of Business Ethics, Public Management Review, International Journal of Sustainable Development and World Ecology ou Social Responsibility Journal. Desempenhou o papel de Associate editor do International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education e Topic editor do Sustainability. Ana está também a colaborar como Guardian do GRLI Council (Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative), Head of Programmatic Work no PRME Chapter Iberia, e serve como Interlocutora de Qualidade e Sustentabilidade para a Iscte Business School. No passado, Ana desempenhou o papel de Associate Dean for Engagement and Impact na Iscte Business School, de Subdiretora do Departamento de Marketing, Operações e Gestão Geral, de membro da Comissão Científica da BRU-Iscte, e de coordenadora da dimensão de Prosperidade da Sustentabilidade no Iscte.   Ana complementou adicionalmente a sua formação académica com várias qualificações profissionais, incluindo o GRI Certified Training Program, o Sustainable Business Strategy da Harvard Business School Online, e certificações como Advanced Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Professional, como Facilitadora Certificada LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® e como Facilitadora Certificada em Pro.Play®.    

Aristides I. Ferreira é Professor Associado no ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Portugal. É, igualmente, membro do Conselho Científico e Investigador da Business Research Unit do mesmo instituto. É doutorado em Psicologia pela Universidade do Minho (Portugal) e pós-doutorado pela Universidade Livre de Berlim (Alemanha). Leciona cursos relacionados com a Gestão de Recursos Humanos, Comportamento Organizacional e Gestão da Mudança em diversos cursos de licenciatura, mestrado e doutoramento. Desde 2018 faz parte do Executive Committee of the European Association of Psychological Assessment. Os seus interesses de investigação incluem a avaliação psicológica / psicometria, liderança, criatividade, gestão da mudança e presentismo. Nos últimos anos fez parte de vários projetos de investigação financiados e colaborou com várias organizações públicas e privadas. Atualmente tem vários livros publicados e mais de 60 artigos publicados em revistas científicas com revisão por pares como o International Journal of Project Management, o Journal of Business Research, o British Journal of Management e o Journal of Organizational Behavior.

Catarina Marques is an Associate Professor at the Department of Quantitative Methods for Management and Economics (DQMME) of Iscte Business School and a researcher of BRU-Iscte's Data Analytics Research Group. She has a BSc in Applied Mathematics, a MSc in Business Administration and a PhD in Quantitative Methods with a specialisation in Statistics and Data Analysis. Her main research has been centred on structural equation modelling. More recently she has used her experience and competencies to research in Data Science. Catarina participated in the development of the undergraduate programme in Data Science at Iscte, having been Director of the BSc in Data Science (2019-2023). Since November 2023, she has coordinated the Data Science specialisation of the PhD in Management. She has been a member of the PhD in Tourism Management Scientific Committee since February 2017. She was a member of Iscte'’s Pedagogical Council (2019-2021), and during 6 years, Catarina coordinated the 2nd year of the BSc in Management. She is currently an alternate member of Iscte’'s Scientific Council.

His academic journey includes visiting scholar collaborations at several international institutions, such as the University of Memphis (TN, USA), University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (Chengdu, China), Häme University of Applied Sciences (Hämeenlinna, Finland), Tallinn University of Technology (Tallinn, Estonia), Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (CHIH, Mexico), University of Kaiserslautern (Germany), and Central College of Commerce (Scotland). Currently, he serves as Full Professor of Strategy and Decision Analysis at ISCTE Business School, University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), where he coordinates the PhD program specialization in Strategy and Entrepreneurship and directs the Executive Master in Management (for non-Business Administration graduates). Additionally, he holds the position of Adjunct Research Professor at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis (TN, USA). Fernando has authored books, book chapters, +180 peer-reviewed papers, and has made +200 conference presentations. He has also delivered keynote and invited speeches at conferences worldwide, including in Albania, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Spain and South Korea. His work has been published in leading international journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research (ABS 4), Annals of Operations Research (ABS 3), Energy Economics (ABS 3), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (ABS 3), Journal of Business Research (ABS 3), Journal of Small Business Management (ABS 3), Journal of the Operational Research Society (ABS 3), R&D Management (ABS 3), Technological Forecasting & Social Change (ABS 3), and Technovation (ABS 3). He also serves as Associate Editor and/or Editorial Board Member for several international journals.  In terms of practical experience, Fernando is a Senior Manager at Montis West Corporation (TN, USA) and has +25 years of experience as a group facilitator. He has provided consultancy services and/or executive education to both private and public-sector organizations. Some of the notable entities he has collaborated with include Caixa Geral de Depósitos (Portuguese state-owned banking corporation), Fidelidade Insurance Company (market leader in Portugal), Infraestruturas de Portugal (Portugal’s rail and road infrastructure manager), Metropolitano de Lisboa (state-owned metro company), Amplexor/Acolad (global leader in digital services), and PERI Brazil (one of the largest providers of formwork and scaffolding solutions in Latin America). He has also served as evaluator for numerous international projects funded by both European and non-European research bodies, including the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in the Netherlands, the National Science Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of Poland, the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID) under the Government of Chile. His primary research interests include multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), strategic decision-making, and integrated systems for performance measurement, with a particular focus on the banking and real estate sectors.

Helena holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, UK. She is full professor of accounting at Iscte Business School in Lisbon, and previously worked at Bayes Business School in London. She had visiting positions at the University of Miami in the US, where she was a Fulbright Research Scholar, and at Sydney University in Australia. Her research interests are on financial markets, corporate governance and international financial reporting. Helena participates regularly in top international conferences such as meetings of the European Accounting Association, American Accounting Association, and European Finance Association. She is often invited to speak at seminars, conferences, and doctoral meetings of prestigious European and US universities. Helena's research has been published in top journals in accounting and finance, such as the Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, European Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Auditing and Finance, and Journal of Business Ethics. Her research findings have been used by international organizations dealing with corporate reporting issues, such as the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), the CFA Institute, and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). Helena serves the community taking roles in various committees of the European Accounting Association, as associated editor of the journals European Accounting Review and Accounting Business Research, and as a member of evaluation panels for recruitment and for PhD grants. During her career, Helena managed various research projects funded by the Portuguese Science Foundation FCT, participated in an European Training Network, and won several awards including Best European PhD thesis in Management by EDAMBA, best conference papers, and best reviewer. Helena has also been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to develop a one year research project at the University of Miami in the US.

É professor no ISCTE desde 2000. Atualmente é professor associado no Departamento de Recursos Humanos e Comportamento Organizacional (RHCO). Possui Agregação na área de Recursos Humanos (ISCTE 2020); é Doutorado em Psicologia Social e das Organizações (ISCTE 2007), sobre o tema Cooperação e Oportunismo, efectuou o Mestrado em Psicologia Social e das Organizações (ISCTE 2001), sobre o tema Ética e Responsabilidade e finalizou a sua licenciatura em Organização e Gestão de Empresas (ISCTE 1991). Participou em avaliações de programas de financiamento da União Europeia. No sector privado assumiu o cargo de responsável de RH numa instituição bancária (1993-1998) e funções técnicas de RH numa empresa do sector automóvel (1990-1993). Os principais temas de interesse de investigação situam-se nas áreas da incerteza, cooperação e comportamentos contra-produtivos em equipas de trabalho, efeitos dos sistemas de recompensas e controlo nas organizações, bem como nas relações entre as políticas de RH e a confiança organizacional e assimetrias de poder.

Inna Paiva (PhD) is Associate Professor (with habilitation) in the Instituto Univeritário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL).  She has experience in teaching in master’s programmes and programmes for executive education, and engages with courses related to financial accounting, business reporting and public accounting.  She also supervises master’s students’ dissertations and has made various presentations in in international scientific conferences and authored papers and book chapters. For several years, she was the director of the Master’s in Accounting and Taxation and the Bachelor’s Degree Course Accounting, Taxation and Auditing in the Universidade Lusófona. Her research interests lie in the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards, accounting quality and family firms. She has published her research in book chapters and in journals such as the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, the  Spanish Journal of Finance and Accounting, the Review of Accounting and Finance. She has also published a text book: Contabilidade Pública - As Novas Demonstrações para Relato em Sistema de Normalização Contabilística para as Administrações Públicas/ Public Accounting - The New Report Statements in the Accounting Normalization System for Public Administration  and she is the author of practical case studies in the text book Fundamentos de Contabilidade Financeira: teoria e casos/ Foundations of Financial Accounting: theory and case studies.

José Dias Curto is full professor at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL Business School, Quantitative Methods Departament) and investigator at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), Lisboa, Portugal. He earned his PhD in Quantitative Methods for Management from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), MA in Management from Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) and Bachellor's degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia, Portugal. His primary research focuses statistics and econometrics with applications to finance, accounting and economics. Paula Vicente is Associate Professor of Statistics and Data Analysis at Iscte Business School, Researcher at BRU-Iscte (Data Analytics), and consultant on numerous projects in terms of survey design, questionnaire design, sampling, and reporting. Paula holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods (Surveys and Opinion Polls) from Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.  Current research areas: telephone / mobile phone surveys, official statistics, data science meets surveys, in which she has published several papers, book chapters and conference presentations. Paula published two books titled: Sondagens: a amostragem como fator decisivo de qualidade (1996; 2001) e Estudos de Mercado e de Opinião (2012), by Edições Sílabo. She is a member of the team responsible for Sondagens ICS/Iscte.

Titular de dois Doutoramentos e de duas Agregações, Renato Pereira especializou-se em Empreendedorismo, em Inovação, em Gestão Internacional, e em Desenvolvimento Económico da África Subsariana. Antigo residente-estudante da Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, foi designado para o Conselho de Administração da fundação privada de utilidade pública que gere o campus internacional da capital francesa, eleito por um colégio representativo de 5.000+ votantes de 150+ nacionalidades. Trabalhou em várias empresas do cluster das tecnologias de informação e comunicação, nomeadamente a Outsystems, um dos três primeiros unicórnios portugueses. Enquanto Administrador da Inteli - Inteligência em Inovação - Centro de Inovação, integrou a estrutura de coordenação do consórcio Mobi.E, responsável pelo desenvolvimento da 1ª rede de âmbito nacional do mundo para carregamento de veículos elétricos, e o Conselho de Administração da SGORME - Sociedade Gestora de Operações da Rede de Mobilidade Elétrica, S.A. Durante treze anos consecutivos, desempenhou o cargo de Vogal do Conselho Fiscal da Taguspark, S.A., sociedade gestora de um dos maiores e mais relevantes parques de ciência e tecnologia do país. Foi Adjunto do Ministro das Obras Públicas, Transportes e Comunicações dos XVII e XVIII Governos Constitucionais. Dirige, atualmente, o Mestrado em Gestão Internacional da Escola de Gestão do Iscte e coordena o Grupo de Investigação de Gestão da BRU-Iscte. Anteriormente, dirigiu o Mestrado Executivo em Gestão da Inovação da Iscte Executive Education, para além de várias unidades curriculares dos Mestrados da Iscte Business School, do Mestrado em Estudos Africanos e do Doutoramento em Estudos Africanos. Anteriormente, foi Subdiretor para a Internacionalização e a Investigação da Escola de Gestão do Iscte-IUL. Enquanto Professor Associado da Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, coordenou: o Doutoramento em Economia da Empresa, o Seminário de Geoeconomia do Doutoramento em Relações Internacionais, o Mestrado em Gestão de Empresas, e a Licenciatura em Gestão, para além de várias unidades curriculares dos três ciclos universitários. Tem recebido prémios de investigação e outras distinções relativamente às suas publicações atribuídos por relevantes membros da comunidade  científica. Orientou 5 pós-doutoramentos, 26 doutoramentos e mais de 200 mestrados. Tem uma longa e extensiva experiência académica internacional, tendo sido Professor e/ou Investigador Visitante em instituições de ensino superior de: África do Sul, Angola, Brasil, Chéquia, China, Emirados Árabes Unidos, Eslovénia, Espanha, Finlândia, França, Hungria, Índia, Indonésia, Líbano, Macau, México, Moçambique, Peru, Polónia, Portugal, Quénia, Reino Unido, Rússia, Tailândia, Tanzânia, Timor-Leste, Uganda e Uzbequistão. É membro do Conselho de Direção da NIBES - Network of International Business and Economics Schools com a responsabilidade da Investigação.

Sandra Costa é Professora Auxiliar no Departamento de Recursos Humanos e Comportamento Organizacional no ISCTE- IBS. O seu doutoramento é na área da Gestão (especialidade de Comportamento Organizacional) e foi obtido na Nova SBE. Leccionou diversas cadeiras na área da Gestão de Recursos Humanos, Comportamento Organizacional, Psicologia Organizacional e Ocupacional e Métodos Quantitativos em diferentes universidades: Universidade de Liverpool (Reino Unido), Nova School of Business and Economics (PT), Universidade Europeia e Instituto Português de Administração de Marketing (PT). Já publicou em revistas internacionais tais como Journal of Vocational Behavior, Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, British Journal of Management and Work & Stress. É também investigadora responsável num projecto financiado pela FCT.

Sandra Loureiro belongs to that 2%. Sandra Maria Correia Loureiro is Professor at ISCTE-IUL and a researcher in the BRU and SOCIUS. She is the Director of Portuguese Marketing & Management SBU of GAMMA (Global Alliance of Marketing and Management Associations). She is also in the Scientific consulting body of (i) EuroMed and Euromed Research Business (EMRBI), (ii) AIRSI Conference and in relation to the Spanish Journal of Marketing-ESIC, (iii) CEO - Centro de Investigação de Economia e das Organizações, among others the scientific Committees. In 2024 she won the BEST TRACK CHAIR AWARD in the 2024 Global Fashion Management conference for the conjoint symposium GAMMA-BRU-Iscte. Licenciada em Psicologia em 2000, na especialidade de Psicologia do Trabalho, na Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto. Doutorada em Psicologia, em 2006, na mesma Faculdade, com uma tese sobre envelhecimento e trabalho. Pós-Doutoramento em Ergonomia na Faculdade de Motricidade Humana da Universidade de Lisboa. Professora Associada no Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, no Departamento de Recursos Humanos e Comportamento Organizacional, tendo lecionado, desde 2007, disciplinas nas áreas da Psicologia do Trabalho, Saúde e Segurança no Trabalho, Comportamento Organizacional e Métodos Qualitativos, em vários ciclos de estudos, e tendo orientado diversos trabalhos de mestrado e de doutoramento. Investigadora do Dinâmia’Cet-Iscte (Centro de Estudos sobre a Mudança Socioeconómica e o Território), onde desenvolve investigação sobre a relação entre saúde, idade e trabalho, em particular sobre condições de trabalho, fatores de risco psicossocial, teletrabalho, envelhecimento e diversidade etária no trabalho, tendo publicações nacionais e internacionais nas referidas áreas.

Sofia Kalakou is Assistant Professor at ISCTE Business School and Integrated researcher at the Business Research Unit (BRU). She is the Director of the postgraduate program in Future Mobility. She holds a PhD in Transportation Systems (Instituto Superior Técnico, MIT-Portugal program) and before joining ISCTE she worked as a transport consultant.  Sofia is coordinating the ImAFUSA project (https://www.imafusa-sesar.eu/) and has previously coordinated the UAMschool4Cities project (https://tp.uamschool4cities.eu/). She participates as a Reviewer at international Journals.
