Este caderno tem como objetivo mostrar o trabalho elaborado durante um ano em Intercâmbio, na Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil. A Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FAU) tem uma abordagem baseada em dois planos. Primeiro, no da convergência entre saberes das humanidades, das artes e das técnicas. Segundo, no da incorporação de conteúdos associados à arquitetura e urbanismo. Foram realizados três trabalhos de projeto, um de planeamento urbano e dois de habitação social em duas diferentes áreas de São Paulo. Os três projetos tinham requerimentos a serem cumpridos, impostos pelo projeto em si mas, a maioria, pela legislação em vigor. Apesar de ser o planeamento um dos temas mais discutido dentro da faculdade, a cidade de São Paulo sofre de graves problemas de deslocamento, trânsito, poluição (sonora e do ar), defcit habitacional e inundação. Estes são apenas alguns dos temas enfrentados dentro dos projetos através de uma elaboração prática, mas também em parte teórica. Este caderno apresenta também um trabalho de pesquisa elaborado conjuntamente com a Prof.ª Dra. Denise Duarte e a Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). O tipo de tema a ser abordado foi o papel do planeamento, do desenho urbano e do projeto de edifícios na adaptação à mudança do clima na microescala. Este livro introduz a estruturação do ensino no Brasil e principalmente dentro da faculdade, mostrando todos os trabalhos feitos nos dois semestres e inclui as duas eletivas.

This book wants to show the work elaborated during an exchange year in the University of São Paulo, Brazil. The Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) have two kind of approach. The frst is based on the convergence of human knowledge, art and technique and the second, on the contents associated with architecture and urbanism. Three projects were carry out, one on urban planning matter and the other two on social housing in distinct São Paulo areas. These projects and requirements are satisfed in part by the project itself and in part by the legislation in force. Although, if urban planning is one of the most discussed topics in the university, the city of São Paulo suffers of serious problems of displacement, traffc, pollution (sound and air), housing defcit and flood. These are just some of the issues faced within the projects by practical elaboration but also by theoretical elaboration. This book also presents a research paper elaborate with Prof. Dr. Denise Duarte and the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP). The type of theme to be approach was the role of urban planning, urban design and building design in the vision of climate change at the microscale. This book introduces also the structuring of teaching in Brazil, mainly focussed in the faculty that I have attended by showing all the work done during the two semesters
