A presente dissertação pretende perceber de que forma a denúncia e o mapeamento de situações de assédio e a violência sexual no espaço público, através da aplicação online “OMNIS.”, podem servir como prevenção e apoio à vítima. Para isso, foram realizadas entrevistas a potenciais vítimas e entidades competentes, de forma a compreender o universo destes crimes sexuais e a utilidade da aplicação. Para melhor enquadramento, os crimes sexuais referidos foram igualmente estudados à luz da lei portuguesa e das estratégias de políticas públicas em Portugal. Por fim, foi estabelecida uma relação entre a aplicação “OMNIS.” e a promoção de conceitos e valores estruturais aqui abordados, como a igualdade de género e a liberdade sexual.

This dissertation pretends to understand how the report and mapping of situations of harassment and sexual violence in the public place, through the online application “OMNIS.”, can serve as prevention and support to the victim. For this aim, interviews were conducted with potential victims and competent entities, in order to understand the universe of these sexual crimes and the usefulness of the application. For a better framework, these sexual crimes were also studied in the light of Portuguese law and public policy strategies in Portugal. Finally, a relationship was established between the application "OMNIS." and the promotion of structural concepts and values discussed here, such as gender equality and sexual freedom.
