Este trabalho de projeto passa por dar a conhecer o concelho de Alenquer e o que melhor nele se faz. Os museus municipais têm um papel extremamente importante na cultura e, muitas vezes, são descorados pelas comunidades. No entanto é crucial recolher opiniões e sugestões dos locais e saber ouvi-las. Alenquer é uma vila histórica do distrito de Lisboa e tem em funcionamento, até aos dias de hoje, quatro museus, todos eles com alguma relevância para o concelho. Ainda assim, conta com outros espaços de atração cultural, desde o Palácio Municipal, a Igreja do Espírito Santo e o Convento de São Francisco. O projeto Museus Fora de Horas surge como forma de teste e estímulo cultural à comunidade de Alenquer.

This project work involves making the municipality of Alenquer and what it does best known. Municipal museums have an extremely important role in culture and are often overlooked by communities. However, it is crucial to gather opinions and suggestions from the locals and listen to them. Alenquer is a historic town in the Lisbon district and has, to this day, four museums in operation, all of them with some relevance to the municipality. Still, it has other spaces of cultural attraction, such as the Municipal Palace, the Church of Saint Spirit and the Convent of São Francisco. The project Museus Fora de Horas arises as a form of testing and cultural stimulus to the community of Alenquer.
