Este trabalho de mestrado em Antropologia, "Itinerários religiosos e culturais do concelho de Vila Franca de Xira" e o seu estudo aprofundado centra-se na divulgação da história do seu património cultural e de Roteiros e Itinerários Religiosos e Culturais, que irão proporcionar aos turistas e peregrinos, um manancial de ofertas turísticas e um pouco da nossa história. Neste contexto, quis perceber a motivação do turista e do peregrino, reconhecendo a importância destes caminhos, no desenvolvimento, valorização, identificação e sinalética destes percursos. O "Guia do peregrino", permite oferecer melhores condições nos acessos do caminho de Fátima e Santiago de Compostela, que se estende por 32 Kms neste concelho e contém informações essenciais e relevantes sobre alojamento, alimentação e contactos úteis. No entanto a principal preocupação centra-se na referência aos diversos pontos de interesse a ser visitados ao longo do percurso e em visitas guiadas a esse património de Vila Franca de Xira. Ao procurar definições imbricadas nesta temática, irei conectar os vários temas numa visão antropológica para percebermos a seguinte questão fundamental: - Será que o turismo religioso associado ao património cultural do concelho de Vila Franca de Xira poderá hoje e no futuro ter influência para o desenvolvimento de toda a área concelhia? Com a realização deste projeto, reunimos informação, que neste âmbito do Turismo religioso em Vila Franca de Xira, será muito enriquecedor para todos os estudiosos de turismo religioso e cultural, assim como para aqueles que anseiam novas dinâmicas de itinerários turísticos em progresso no nosso concelho.

This Master's degree project in Anthropology "Religious and cultural itineraries of municipality of Vila Franca de Xira" and its in-depth study is fundamentally focused on disclosing the history of its Cultural Heritage and Religious and Cultural Itineraries, which will provide tourists and pilgrims a wealth of touristic offers and a little about our history. In this context, the goal was to understand the motivation of tourists and pilgrims, recognizing the importance of these paths, in the development, enhancement, identification and signage of these routes. The "Pilgrim’s guide", allows better conditions to access Fátima and Santiago Walking Routes that extend for 32 Kms in this County, containing essential and relevant information about accommodation, food and useful contacts. However, the main concern is the various points of interest to be visited along the route and Guided Tours to Municipal Heritage of Vila Franca de Xira. When looking for definitions intertwined in this theme, I will connect the various themes in an anthropological view so that we understand the fundamental question: - Could it be that Religious Tourism associated with Cultural Heritage of Municipality of Vila Franca Xira would today and in the future have an influence on thedevelopment of the entire Municipality? With the completion of this project, we gathered information, which in this area of religious tourism in Vila Franca de Xira, will be very enriching for all scholars of religious and cultural tourism, and for those who yearn for new dynamics of tourist travel in our county.
