In Tribute to Professor Antonio da Silva Leal, professor and politician that distinguished himself in the defense and development of policies of solidarity among all citizens, ISCTE-IUL and the Secretary of State for Social Security instituted the Prize Silva Leal, intended to reward students of ISCTE-IUL (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles) that have been distinguished through the preparation of theses and papers relevant to the study of policies and practices in the areas of social security, solidarity and social economy and have been evaluated during the school year 2011/2012.
