FISTA 2011 is the forum of IUL - School of Architecture and Technology (IST) which runs 3 and 4 May in the large auditorium of the University Institute of Lisbon. Companies Universities is powered by the motto of the event will bring together students and companies to discuss technological and architectural innovation and entrepreneurship.

Exploit synergies between the projects of the research centers of ISCTE-IUL, in technology, architecture and management, and projects and the practical realities of large operators is the purpose of FISTA 2011.

In view of the intersection of new ideas, FISTA 2011 will simultaneously bring together students and potential employers to identify the emerging market requirements and architectural technology globally. Among the participating organizations listed as: Microsoft, Portugal Telecom, Nokia Siemens Networks, Optimus, ZON, Capgemini, Multivision, Netplan, Inok, Sybase, ViaTecla, the Portuguese delegation of OWASP, Noesis, Maksen, Magic Box, Anturio, Advantis Solutions, Thales, Anacom

The event has the support of the Alumni Association of ISCTE-IUL, Advanced IS / IT Research Center (ADETTI-IUL), Foundation for Science and Technology, Association of Engineers, City of Lisbon, IEEE (Portuguese Section) ANACOM Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications, Communications Foundation, MIT Portugal Innovation and entrepreneurship initiative, AUDAX-IUL, beyond the major technology manufacturers and operators.
