Estratégia, Planeamento e Controlo | Ética, Responsabilidade e Sustentabilidade Empresarial
Ana Simaens é Professora Auxiliar da ISCTE Business School do ISCTE-IUL e investigadora da Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL). Desempenha atualmente o cargo de Subdirectora do Departamento de Marketing, Operações e Gestão Geral. Possui doutoramento em Gestão pela Universidade de Tilburg (Países Baixos) e Mestrado em Gestão Internacional em duplo grau do ISCTE (Portugal) e ESCEM - Tours / Poitiers (França). A Ana lecciona os temas de Gestão Estratégica e Sustentabilidade, Ética e Responsabilidade Social e os seus interesses de investigação incluem gestão estratégica e redes no contexto de organizações do terceiro setor e sustentabilidade. Participou de várias conferências, incluindo as organizadas pelas associações ARNOVA, ISTR, ERNOP e CIRIEC. O seu trabalho apareceu no Journal of Business Ethics e Public Management Review. No passado, a Ana desempenhou o cargo de Editora Executiva da Global Economics and Management Review, uma revista científica peer-review publicada pela Elsevier, e pertenceu ao Comité de Publicações da ARNOVA (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action). Até recentemente, a Ana foi Diretora Executiva do Sustainability Knowledge Lab (SKL) no INDEG-ISCTE. Atualmente, pertence à equipa de coordenação do projeto Sustainability @ ISCTE-IUL (Dimensão Prosperidade) e é a Interlocutora da Qualidade e Sustentabilidade para a ISCTE Business School.
Estratégia, Planeamento e Controlo
Marjan S. Jalali is Associate Professor at the ISCTE Business School of the University Institute of Lisbon, and researcher at the Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL). She holds a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford; a MA in Organisation Studies from the university of Warwick; and a PhD in Management from the University of Sydney. Some of her works have been published nationally and internationally, in journals such as the Journal of Business Research and the International Journal of Information Technology and Decision Making. She is on the editorial board member of the Global Business and Economics Review, and managing editor of the International Journal of Management Science and Information Technology. Her research interests include social marketing, consumer behaviour, multiple criteria decision analysis, and strategic decision making.
Finanças da Empresa
Rui Alpalhão nasceu em Lisboa em 1963. Licenciou-se em Economia pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, escola onde concluiu um Mestrado em Gestão de Empresas e ensinou entre 1985 e 1999. É Doutor em Finanças pelo Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, escola onde é Professor Associado Convidado e ensina Finanças. Foi administrador de sociedades participadas (e controladas) pelo Banco Totta & Açores e pela Caixa Geral de Depósitos entre 1992 e 2002, ano em que montou o "management buy in" de uma gestora de fundos, cuja administração executiva assegurou entre 2003 e 2013. Fundou, em 2005, a FundBox Holdings, maior accionista de duas sociedades gestoras de fundos, e iniciou actividade no mercado de "distressed assets" em 2013, com a aquisição, em "joint venture" com um financeiro inglês, de um hotel na Quinta do Lago à Parvalorem. Tem dois livros editados em Portugal, e artigos científicos publicados em revistas internacionais como a "Applied Financial Economics", a "Financial History Review", o "International Journal of Financial Research" e a "ISRN Economics".

Hélia Gonçalves Pereira is an Assistant Professor of the Marketing, Operations and General Management Department at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa - ISCTE-IUL and Vice-Dean of this Department. Hélia Gonçalves Pereira is also Director of the Executive Master in Management; Pos-Degree in Sales Management and Pos Degree in Top Management in Hospitality and Tourism. She is Coordinator of the Marketing FutureCast Lab, an applied research lab in new trends in marketing. Her background is interdisciplinary, combining a BSc in Economics, a post Degree in European Studies, a MSc in Management and a PhD in Management with specialization in Marketing and several years as senior consultant in Price Waterhouse and Coopers. She has interests in consumer behaviour, internet marketing and social media and, as well, tourism marketing.

Sofia Kalakou, Assistant Professor, PhD in Transportation Systems (IST, MIT-Portugal program). Sofia has previously worked as a transport consultant and researcher on transport planning, passenger and cargo modelling, simulation of airport operations, integration of new technologies in transport systems, performance assessment and sustainability. She participates as a Reviewer at international Journals. Research interests: transport systems planning, behavioural modelling, mobility business models and demand management, simulation of innovative and smart mobility services, new technologies in operations, sustainable tourism
Liderança e Gestão de Recursos Humanos
Before joining ISCTE-IUL in a full-time position (2005), I've worked as HRM Consultant for 5 years and Marketing Researcher for 10 years. After 2005, I taught several courses in HRM and Applied Research Strategies. I've managed several programs in the HRM field (undergraduate, master and Ph.D. levels). I was the Director of the Human Resource and Organizational Behavior Department for 4 years. More recently I shifted my career to a more research orientation. My research interests are the determinants of organizational performance, organizational identity, and leadership development, especially in highly institutionalized contexts like health care services or public and non-profits.

Alexandra Ferreira-Lopes é Professora Auxiliar no ISCTE - IUL, na Escola de Gestão (IBS), sendo membro integrada da BRU-IUL (centro de investigação da IBS) e membro associado do CEFAGE-UBI. É doutorada em Economia pelo ISEG-UL. É autora de artigos científicos nas áreas de macroeconomia aberta e crescimento económico, publicados em revistas como Ecological Economics, Economic Modelling, Open Economies Review, Oxford Economic Papers, Public Finance Review, Regional Studies e Tourism Management. Foi sub-diretora da BRU-IUL entre Fevereiro de 2014 e Agosto de 2016.
Gestão do Marketing (2.º Ciclo - Ch)
Daniela Langaro is a visiting professor at ISCTE-IUL (Portugal) and Vlerick Business School (Belgium). Following her 15 years of experience in marketing in companies from Consumer Packaged Goods (Unilever, Procter and Gamble and Danone) and OTC (Angelini Farmacêutica), Langaro moved to academia in 2012. Her general research interests involve issues in internet marketing, social media, brand communications and brand management.

José Dias Curto is associate professor at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL Business School, Quantitative Methods Departament) and investigator at Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL), Lisboa, Portugal. He earned his PhD in Quantitative Methods for Management from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), MA in Management from Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) and Bachellor's degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia, Portugal. His primary research focuses statistics and econometrics with applications to finance, accounting and economics. My education, a PhD in Management with specialization in Accounting, which topped a Master Business Organization and Management university advanced degree at ISCTE, the professional certification of Public Accountant and a post-graduation as an International Teacher from ISBM Consortium of International Business Schools, combined with my extensive international work experience and continuous professional training, have given me a strong background in many facets of management and teaching. Throughout my career, I have met the challenge of both team and individual projects, which have developed my interpersonal and self-sufficiency skills. Such strengths and skills have proved invaluable to me in adapting, facing and conquering great challenges such as those I faced working in different continents with different peoples, cultures and languages. I started my career as an auditor in 1983 at Deloitte Haskins & Sells, followed in 1985 by a principal finance inspector position at the Finance Ministry in Lisbon. Management training of executives and consulting activities started at ISCTE-IUL and CIFAG, SA in 1989 having joined Marconi, SA as an Audit Manager for foreign associated companies in 1992. In 1997, and during about ten years in Geneva, I worked for two specialized agencies of the United Nations: in the ITU, as the Head of the Internal Audit reporting directly to the Secretary-General; in the WMO, as Chief, Internal Audit and Investigation Service, reporting directly to the Secretary-General. From these experiences and opportunities, and from extensive international training and work experience, primarily in English, French, Portuguese and Italian, I have gained exposure to a variety of methodologies, mentalities, cultures and problem solving techniques, which have enabled me to quickly adapt and react to change. At present, as an Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon, Department of Accounting, I am responsible for designing, lecturing and evaluating undergraduate and master degrees students in Governance of International Organizations, Financial Accounting and Reporting and Fraud Analytics courses taught in English namely for the Erasmus programme students both at undergraduate and master levels and carry my academic research activities in areas such as international organizations, financial accounting, corporate governance, auditing and oversight and transaction cost economics.

Managerial experience From 2009 until 2011 founded and coordinated the NDPH-unit for the development of human potential (a university extension unit specialized in providing services to the market in the area of professional selection and psychological assessment). This unit was integrated in the university consultancy company created in 2011, IUL Global. In 2011 was head of task force to start up ISCTE consultancy company IUL Global, and since 2012 acted as Managing director. In 2014 became member of the board of AUDAX-IUL, center for entrepreneurship and innovation with responsibilities for consultancy services. Consultancy experience Has participated in several organizational intervention projects in the area of organizational behavior (organizational diagnosis) and HRM (professional selection, competencies profiling, team building). Acted as jury member in several public officer selections (middle management and executive positions) for public institutions.

Pedro é Membro Integrado da Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL) do Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), tendo já 11 artigos publicados em várias revistas, incluindo em 5 Scopus Q1, e 1 Scopus Q2. As suas principais áreas de interesse são a Gestão Geral e a Negociação Empresarial. Pedro tem uma experiência de gestão significativa, tendo cargos em vários órgãos sociais de grandes empresas, assim como cargos de gestão académica. Pedro tem elevada experiência de ensino aos vários níveis de ensino.
