Management Control Systems Design
Ph.D in Management and Associate Professor at ISCTE-IUL. Executive Board Member at Iscte Executive Education. She is co-director of Business Financial and Control program at Iscte Executive Education. Coordinator of management control course and professor of financial accounting, at ISCTE. She was director of Executive Masters' program in Management Control and Performance and Business Financial and Control, at Iscte Executive Education. She was director of Master Program in Accounting at ISCTE-IUL Business School, for 6 years. She was sub director of the accounting department and sub director of Iscte Business School. She teaches and coaches corporate executives on the areas of management control since 1997, at Iscte Executive Education. Has already co-authored several books covering management control and accounting subjects. She publishes in reference scientific publications.
Data Science Fundamentals
António Raimundo, who holds a PhD in Information Science and Technology from Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Applied Digital Technologies at Iscte Sintra, where he also coordinates the Bachelor's degree in Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, he is an Integrated Researcher at ISTAR-IUL, focusing his research on areas such as Machine Learning / Deep Learning, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, and Data Science. With several years of teaching experience, he has had the opportunity to be a trainer in short courses, postgraduate programs, and a speaker at various business events.
Management of Organizational Knowledge and Culture
Florinda Matos is PhD in Social Sciences, Organisational Behaviour Studies, by the University of Lisbon. She has a master’s degree in Business Sciences from INDEG/ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Agricultural Business, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomic Engineering, both by the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. She is a Professor at ISCTE Business School – University Institute of Lisbon, where she teaches several courses in the areas of management. Also, she is a professor of knowledge management at IPPS-IUL - Instituto para as Políticas Públicas e Sociais and she is an invited Professor at several international universities. As DINÂMIA'CET – IUL, Centre for the Study of Socioeconomic Change and the Territory integrated researcher, her main research interests are Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital Management, Measuring of Intangibles, Sustainability, Innovation, Additive Manufacturing and Digital Transformation. She was a post-Doc researcher in the Social Impacts of Additive Manufacturing at NOVA.id.FCT and led the project KM3D - Knowledge Management in Additive Manufacturing: Designing New Business Models, in a national consortium, funded by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. She is currently the national coordinator of the CATALYST - European VET Excellence for Leading Sustainable Systems and Business Transformation project, in a European consortium made up of 36 partners, led by academic institutions from Germany, Austria, Greece and North Macedonia. Florinda is a member of the scientific committee of several international conferences, where she has participated as an organiser, speaker, mini-track chair and reviewer. She has more than 40 published academic articles and scientific papers, chapters, and books. She has also been an active participant in the press, where she has published more than 200 articles of opinion on issues of economic and social actuality, being invited to several podcasts. She is currently Conference Chair of the following conferences: ISM 2023 - International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing; ECKM 2023 - 24th European Conference on Knowledge Management; and ECRM 2023 - European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management. Presently, she is associate editor in the area of Economics and Business at Journal Heliyon (Elsevier); a Guest Editor of Springer International Publishing, Journal Meditari Accountancy Research (Emerald) and Journal Sustainability and is also a Topical Advisory of the Journal Knowledge. In addition, she is a member of the Editorial Board of Revista Mátria and Revista Mátria Digital, edited by the Research Center Professor Doutor Joaquim Veríssimo Serrão (CIJVS). She is coordinator of the Thematic Line "Digital Transformation" at the Sociodigital Lab for Public Policy and member of the implementation team of the AI4PA Digital Innovation Hub. As an intellectual capital management expert, Florinda is the founder and the president of the Intellectual Capital Association (ICAA), whose mission is to help transform intellectual capital into added value by contributing to sustainable development. Also, she is a member of the New Club of Paris, an international organisation whose main objective is to create awareness about the Knowledge Economy. Moreover, she is promoting an award alongside the Portuguese public institutions to encourage and reward companies that value Social Sustainability. Also, she is the ambassador for Europe of the International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation (CIKI), organised by Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil). Likewise, she is a member of the Observatory on Knowledge Management and Innovation in Public Administration, from IPEA - Institute for Applied Economic Research of Brazilian Government.    
Advanced Data Analysis Methods
PhD in Sociology, in Theory and Method. Full Professor in the Department of Social Research Methods at ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon. Director of School of Sociology and Public Policies. Director of the Postgraduate in Data Analysis in Social Sciences. Expert in methodological issues and quantitative data analysis. Senior researcher at the Center for the Research and Study of Sociology (CIES-ISCTE-IUL). Area of research is focused inside the quantitative and multivariate methods for categorical and quantitative variables, mainly methods of interdependence and dependence; multilevel models; longitudinal models; measurement models, mediation and moderation models; estimation with bootstrapping. She teaches several courses of multivariate statistics and advanced data analyses on Master and PhD Programs. She has coordinated research projects and she has participated in several research national and international projects, developing her skills of advanced data analysis with quantitative methods. She has published several books and several articles in Portugal and abroad.
Process Modeling and Deployment
Experiente engenheiro, consultor e formador na área das TI, com envolvimento num largo número de projetos a nível mundial, essencialmente nos sectores Financeiro, Pagamentos, Telecomunicações e Retalho. Obteve uma Licenciatura e posteriormente um Mestrado na Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT/UNL) com uma dissertação sobre previsões de serviços TI baseada na análise de séries temporais, e tem um Doutoramento em Ciências e Tecnologias de Informação pelo ISCTE-IUL com uma tese nomeada de Software Development Process Mining: Discovery, Conformance Checking and Enhancement, combinando tecnologias de Big Data, Machine Learning e Process Mining na melhoria das práticas de desenvolvimento de projectos de software. É frequentemente Professor Assistente convidado no ISCTE onde leciona matérias relacionadas com gestão, análise, simulação e previsão de processos e ainda Professor no IPAM/Univ. Europeia em matérias relacionadas com Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies e Pagamentos Digitais. É membro do ISCTE/ISTAR como Associate Researcher e ainda do CS/03 (Commission for the Information and Communications Technologies). É revisor oficial de jornais científicos, tais como o Journal of Systems and Software, o IEEE Access e o Journal of Software: Evolution & Process.

Rúben Pereira is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE. He has a PhD in Information Systems from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) where he also graduated as a Master in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He has been a consultant in several industries, such as: services, banking, telecommunications, Ecommerce, among others. He is the author of several scientific papers, published in conferences / journals / international books, in the area of Information Technology Services Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Governance (ITG). Its areas of scientific interest extend to: Information Technology Risk Management (ITMM), Business Process Management (BPM), continuous improvement and innovation, process optimization, among others. He is also a fan of entrepreneurship, having already been co-founder of three projects, one of them winner of the Startups Factory and finalist in EDP Innovation.
