The Master's degree in Community Psychology and Protection of Children and Young at Risk allows admission to the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (OPP) for the professional internship, and access to the profession.

Students who complete this Program may pursue their professional career, in diverse contexts, such as:

• Child and Youth Protection Commissions (CPCJ)
• Family Support and Parental Counseling Centers
• Private Institutions of Social Solidarity (IPSS)
• Non-governmental organizations
• Municipalities/sections of local government
• Community consulting and development
• Project planning and prevention and intervention programs
• Schools
• Research (e.g., research assistants, PhD candidates/grants).
