Iscte signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Diplomatic Council

On 14 October, Iscte and the Diplomatic Council, a Non-Governmental Organisation recognised by the United Nations, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding to develop collaborative projects.

The signing ceremony will take place at the JJ Laginha Auditorium, at 5 PM., and will also include the presentation of the book Europe and the Emerging New Global Order: Rethinking Europe's Security Framework.

The event will be chaired by Iscte’s Vice-Rector, Professor Helena Carreiras, and will feature the participation of Professor Renato Pereira, Associate Dean for Internationalisation and Research at Iscte Business School; Hang Nguyen, Secretary-General of the Diplomatic Council; Jochen Richter, Director of the DC Global Security Forum and former Director at the European Parliament; Professor Govindraj Dempo, Head of the DC Mission in India and member of the Diplomatic Council Future Academy Board; as well as Andreas Dripke, Chief Executive Officer of the Diplomatic Council.

The Diplomatic Council is a unique organisation, with consultative status at the United Nations, combining a global think tank, a world-leading business network, and a charitable foundation. Its members gain access to an international network of leaders at the highest levels of diplomacy, business, and social change.
