On the 14th of July 2025 the second edition of the Lisbon Summer School organised by Iscte School of Technology and Architecture and the first edition of Sintra Summer School organised by Iscte School of Applied Digital Technologies were inaugurated.

Both summer courses have been organised in partnership with UESTC - University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Fifty students and four staff members from UESTC are participating in both summer courses that will finish on the 25th of July 2025.

Professor Maria das Dores Guerreiro, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Professor Sérgio Moro, Dean of Iscte School of Technology and Architecture and Professor Ricardo Paes Mamede from Iscte School of Applied Digital Technologies, have welcomed students on the very first day of the course.

With the aim of strengthening the cooperation between Iscte and UESTC and reinforce exchange oportunities, the students from the Chinese university are accompanied by seventeen students from Iscte-Sintra during the Summer School activities.
