In the face of particularly serious economic situations that occur during the academic year, and which do not fall within the scope of the normal process of awarding scholarships, emergency aid may be granted.

These situations can be considered at any time during the academic year and, therefore, do not depend on deadlines, being provided for in [article 22nd of the scholarship award regulations] in force.

This aid can be awarded both as exceptional support to scholarship students, and as an exceptional complement to the awarded scholarship, up to a limit of 3XIAS.

The assessment of requests for emergency aid is carried out by the Social Action Service. You can download the application below and send it, together with the other documents proving the situation, to the emailsas@iscte-iul.pt .
