Iscte's Information and Documentation Services provide users with Special Educational Needs, namely blind people, people with low vision or reduced mobility, access to information resources in an accessible format and to specific equipment and software, through:

1. Conversion and adaptation of documents to an accessible format of the bibliography to support teaching/learning and other pedagogical material;


2. Printing in Braille;


3. Integration and dissemination of documents in an accessible format in the Library catalog and in the Common Library;


4. Participation in awareness raising activities for teachers and technical staff;


5. Production of support material for teachers – Guide Good Practices in creating accessible content;


6. Provision of a room with support equipment - Multimedia and Support Room for People with Special Educational Needs (School hours - Monday to Friday: 9AM-9PM and Saturdays: 10AM-6PM).
