The Department of Quantitative Methods at Iscte Business School, created in 1998, constitutes the permanent organic unit responsible for the scientific and pedagogical expression of the area of quantitative methods at this Institute.
With a faculty as a fundamental resource, having extensive experience in teaching and research, the Department of Quantitative Methods participates decisively in the constitution of Iscte's bodies and in carrying out research, teaching, service provision, and support for progression in the university career.
The Department of Quantitative Methods for Management and Economics, one of the six departments of
Iscte Business School, has established itself as a key reference in undergraduate and postgraduate education in Portugal and abroad, as well as in research at the national and international levels. It will continue with the purpose of making a significant contribution to ensuring that quantitative methods are an area of affirmation for
Iscte Business School.
