Caixa Mais Mundo Awards

A 8ª edição dos Prémios “Caixa Mais Mundo” (2025/2026), em parceria com a Direção Geral de Ensino Superior (DGES), é uma iniciativa que distingue 600 estudantes com melhor desempenho académico no acesso ao ensino superior público e em Instituições de Ensino Superior privadas com protocolo com a Caixa, reforçando o seu compromisso com a Educação, o mérito académico e a igualdade de oportunidades.

A 8.ª edição dos Prémios Caixa Mais Mundo contempla as seguintes categorias:

• 150 Prémios por Mérito Académico, no valor de 1.000 euros, para estudantes de cursos de licenciatura ou Cursos Técnicos Superiores Profissionais (CTeSP);
• 360 Bolsas de Estudo para Estudantes Carenciados, no valor de 1.500 euros, distribuídas por estudantes do 1.º ano e por bolseiros das edições anteriores;
• 50 Prémios por Mérito, no valor de 1.000 euros, para estudantes provenientes de Cursos Profissionais que deram continuidade aos seus estudos no ensino superior;
• 40 Prémios por Mérito, no valor de 1.000 euros, para estudantes com naturalidade e nacionalidade de países de língua oficial portuguesa, que concluíram o ensino secundário em Portugal e frequentam o ensino superior.

O Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa foi contemplado com 29 prémios de mérito.
A identificação dos alunos com as melhores notas de candidatura cumpre à DGES, de acordo com os critérios de seleção de cada categoria.

A 6ª edição dos Prémios “Caixa Mais Mundo” (2023/2024), em parceria com a Direção Geral de Ensino Superior (DGES), visa fortalecer a ligação às Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) através do apoio aos alunos do ensino superior, na prossecução dos seus estudos. Os prémios têm como objetivo alargar o acesso aos jovens que desejam estudar no ensino superior, incentivando a continuidade dos estudos em IES através da valorização do mérito académico dos estudantes que finalizaram o ensino secundário. Nesta edição, a CGD reforçou o montante total destes Prémios permitindo aumentar o número de prémios de mérito e bolsas sociais a atribuir, bem como o valor unitário das bolsas sociais, conseguindo, assim, apoiar mais estudantes de contextos socioeconómicos mais desfavorecidos.

Critérios de elegibilidade que constam no Regulamento desta edição:

• 150 Prémios por Mérito Académico destinados aos melhores alunos nacionais inscritos em licenciaturas e mestrado integrado e alunos inscritos em Cursos Técnicos Superiores Profissionais (CTeSP) no ano letivo 2023/2024, que tenham apresentado a melhor classificação;
• 140 Bolsas de Estudo para estudantes carenciados destinadas aos melhores alunos nacionais que concluíram o ensino secundário regular e se encontram inscritos em licenciaturas ou mestrado integrado no ano letivo de 2023/2024, e que cumulativamente, comprovem situação de carência económica (de acordo com critérios de atribuição da DGES);
• 50 Prémios de Mérito para estudantes de Cursos Profissionais destinados aos melhores alunos nacionais que concluíram cursos profissionais do ensino secundário com os melhores resultados e deram continuidade aos seus estudos em Instituições do Ensino Superior;
• 40 Prémios de Mérito para estudantes dos PALOP destinados aos melhores alunos de nacionalidade dos PALOP (Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, Timor, S. Tomé e Príncipe) que concluíram o ensino secundário regular em Portugal e que se tenham matriculado em cursos de licenciatura ou mestrado integrado em IES Portuguesas.

Adicionalmente e de forma a dar continuidade ao apoio dos estudantes de menores recursos económicos, a CGD renovou o pagamento da bolsa de estudo aos alunos carenciados distinguidos na edição anterior (ano letivo 2022/2023).

O Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa foi contemplado com 23 prémios de mérito.

The 2nd edition of the “Prémios Mais Mundo (2019/2020)”, in partnership with the General Directorate of Higher Education (DGES), is part of CGD's Caixa Social Program which, among other areas of intervention, attributes enormous relevance to Education and Knowledge.

In this edition, academic merit and continuity of training are distinguished, with the attribution of a unitary value of €1,500.00, to the 100 best national students who entered, through the national competition for access to higher education, distributed according to the following criteria set out in the attached Regulation:

• 40 Merit Awards aimed at national students enrolled in bachelor's degrees, integrated master's degrees and professional higher technical courses (CTESP) in the 2019/2020 academic year who have presented the best classification;
• 20 Scholarships for students in need (new) aimed at national students enrolled in bachelor's degrees, master's degrees integrated in the 2019/2020 academic year with economic difficulties;
• 20 Merit Awards for students on Professional Courses (new) aimed at national students who completed professional secondary education courses with the best grades in the previous academic year;
• 20 Merit Awards for PALOP students (new) aimed at students placed and enrolled in integrated bachelor's or master's degrees in the 2019/2020 academic year originating in the following countries: Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Timor, S. Tomé and Príncipe.
