The Ethics Committee of the School of Sociology and Public Policy was established following the decentralisation of Iscte’s Ethics Council; its remit is to issue opinions and recommendations on ethical matters, within the scope of its respective scientific or disciplinary fields and in relation to research carried out both by School of Sociology and Public Policy students at the first, second and third cycles (bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees) and by researchers affiliated with the School research units or by academic staff in the School departments.
