The Prize BEATRIZ LEBRE – 3.ª edition is an annual award that seeks to recognise a student who stands out for their integrity (respect for others and ethics) and active and participatory citizenship, seeking, at the same time, to honour Beatriz Lebre, a Master's student in Social Psychology and Organisations at Iscte. 

An attribution of the Prize depends on the submission of an application, signed by three Iscte students, attesting to the integrity and active, participatory citizenship of the candidate.

The Evaluation criteria of the applications are:

• Proven participation civic and pedagogical, in different activities. Among the activities covered, we can identify, for example, the organisation and conduct of volunteer actions; initiatives at the Iscte level; and active participation by international students and/or those with specific educational needs in Iscte activities (choir, theatre, sports, student groups, among others).
• The relevance of the activities developed.
• The permanence/regularity in the development of the listed/identified activities. participation, civic and pedagogical participation, and the contribution to the community in which the activities were developed.

To all the evaluation criteria referred to in the previous point, a rating of 1 (accepted), 2 (good), or 3 (very good) is assigned. Each evaluation criterion carries a 25% weight in the final classification.

Applications:

Applications must be submitted by sending an email message by 4 May 2026 to the address of the Secretariat of the Pedagogical Council: secretariado.cp@iscte-iul.pt, within the announced period in a specific notice, which must contain the following elements:

• Specific form application duly completed;
• Letter of justification and demonstration of the merit of the Prize according to the evaluation criteria defined in point 6 of the Notice;
• Document/s signed by third-party entities, in which the participation of the candidate takes place. The application's subscribers and the candidate are students of an Iscte degree course.
• A declaration signed by the candidate authorises the application's subscribers to process personal data for the specific purpose of the application.
