Technology and innovation are assuming an increasingly relevant role in Education. The Postgraduate Program in Digital Transformation in Teaching and Learning was established to specialize professionals in the education and training sector in effectively integrating emerging digital technologies into the teaching-learning process, including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, cybersecurity, and digital didactics.
The program structure was developed with high standards of Distance Education, offering students greater flexibility in their learning process to manage study time and balance course commitments with professional and personal activities.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Integrate emerging digital technologies with pedagogical approaches to enhance the teaching-learning process, whether in-person or at a distance;
- Incorporate artificial intelligence and virtual and augmented reality tools to improve the teaching-learning process;
- Select strategies employing digital technologies appropriate for both face-to-face and distance learning settings, within specific content domains;
- Apply principles of data protection, privacy, and digital security in educational and training contexts.
Completed Curriculum Units in the Postgraduate Program can be credited towards the Professional Master's Program in Digital Transformation in Teaching and Learning, currently undergoing accreditation by A3ES.

In a society undergoing constant digital evolution, the integration of digital technologies into education requires a deep understanding of which technologies, at what moments, and in what ways they should be interconnected during the teaching and learning process to make it more efficient and inclusive.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, the Postgraduate Program in Digital Transformation in Teaching and Learning aims to equip students with technical and pedagogical skills needed to actively contribute to the digital transformation of schools and educational institutions.
