There are a variety of assessment methods at Iscte. Assessments factors may include formal examinations at the end of each semester, participation, class attendance, essays, group projects and case-study presentations.
International students may do their reports and written examinations in English or another foreign language, even in some Portuguese-taught courses, but teachers must agree to this on a case-by-case basis before arrival or at the beginning of classes.
An official Transcripts of Records will issued for each student according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) grading scale.
