Pedagogical Session Plagiarism, AI and Academic Conduct: concepts, practices and new challenges

This session addressed issues of fraud and academic integrity, with the main focus on plagiarism in its various forms, the motivations for its practice, and how to avoid it. There was also discussion of the relationship between Iscte students and Artificial Intelligence platforms (such as ChatGPT) as a resource for learning, as well as the challenges institutions face in ensuring these tools are used ethically and responsibly.
