TESTIMONIALS
During the spring semester, I was looking for an Internship and came across the Summer School Staff Internship offered by Iscte Business School. I applied for it because I was seeking an experience that allowed me to develop professional skills, whilst also being active and social, meeting new people from Iscte and throughout the world. The four-week program exceeded my expectations. As the summer school staff team, we worked hard to prepare the summer school for the students during the first two weeks. This enhanced my teamwork skills, as well as problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Once the students arrived, our days were packed with running the activities of the day, whilst simultaneously preparing for the upcoming days and activities. It was a lot of fun and I would say that the staff had as good of a time as did the students. My highlight was taking the students for a weekend to the Algarve!
Taking part in the Summer School Staff represented an enormous challenge and turning point in my professional and personal life. I was not only able to apply some of the most important skills I learned during my bachelor's degree, but it also helped me to make new friendships that I will forever cherish, interact with people from all around the world and overcome situations that I never thought I could.
I was looking for something gratifying and somewhere I could learn new skills. Once I found the advertising for the Lisbon Summer School I knew that it would be the perfect match for a fulfilling experience. My four weeks there were jammed with fun, new friendships, new adventurous and new knowledge. I became a more easily adaptable individual as new challenges would come up on a daily basis, as well as a more outgoing person. I truly loved meeting people from almost every “corner” of the world, as some of them became really close friends of mine!
