There's a new Master's programme on offer at Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon. It's the ManagiDiTH - Master of Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector.

The next application period will run from 15 April to 15 May 2024 on this page.

ManagiDiTH is an innovative Master's programme on Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector. In addition to the School of Applied Digital Technologies (Iscte-Sintra), which it leads, it involves two other universities: Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and is an initiative within the Pioneer Alliance.

This master's degree is an international online programme taught by the three universities. It will offer multidisciplinary knowledge on how to plan and support the digitalisation of health and social care services, and promote the implementation of new procedures and services, supported by information and communication technologies (ICT).

The curricular organisation comprises a total of 90 ECTS, corresponding to three semesters of training. The courses will be taught in English and will be available online, with learning materials and resources also accessible in Finnish, Greek and Portuguese.

It is designed to be attended at the same time as a professional activity. The content is especially interesting for professionals in healthcare, ICT, management and other fields. Classes are held online and there are only occasional synchronous sessions in the late afternoon/evening.

The ManagiDiTH Master has three main components: Skills in the health sector, Social skills and Digital skills. In the Digital Skills component, students can choose between two possible branches: Data Science or Interoperability, according to their interest and training profile. To summarise, this is a proposal for multicultural and interdisciplinary learning through the provision of culturally diverse content and materials.
