Quality Manual

O Iscte Quality Manual (MQ) defines the organizational structure, responsibilities, processes, objectives and indicators which are part of Iscte's Integrated Quality Management System, as well as the principles that guide its implementation and monitoring. This Manual also describes the functioning of SIGQ Iscte, namely:

• The articulation of Iscte's strategy with quality policy;


• The competencies and relationships between the government bodies that intervene in the design, validation, implementation and improvement of regulatory guidelines and quality assurance means;


• The processes, plans and reports that demonstrate quality assurance in Iscte.

The regular review of the MQ is biennial, but can, however, be carried out whenever it is necessary to introduce any modifications. It is coordinated by the Quality and Sustainability Management Committee (CGQS) and approved by the Rector or, alternatively, by the Vice-Rector for the respective area. The revision of the manual can be partial or total and implies, whenever issued, a new version duly identified and dated. The this version of MQ (5.0) results from a process of learning and consolidation to which different exercises contributed internal and external evaluation, nationally and internationally, and was approved on April 28, 2025.
