Este trabalho procura identificar os factores críticos para a implementação de sistema
ERP e as dificuldades de implementação em dois bancos Moçambicanos. Para o efeito foi
realizado um estudo qualitativo em dois bancos, comrecurso a entrevistas semiestruturadas.
Como motivadores para implementação foram identificados factores externos (tais como
alterações regulamentares) e internos (tais como problemas de integração dos sistemas
internos e inflexibilidade de relatórios). Como dificuldades foram citadas a falta de
coordenação ao nível das tecnologias, falta de recursos e competências e falta de
compreensão por parte dos utilizadores.

This work seeks to identify the critical factors for implementing ERP systems and the
difficulties of implementation in two banks in Mozambique. For this purpose a qualitative
study was conducted in two banks, using semi structured interviews. As motivators for the
implementation were identified external factors (such as regulatory changes) and internal
factors (such as problems of integration of internal systems and inflexible reporting). The
main difficulties mentioned were lack of coordination at the level of information technology,
lack of resources and skills and lack of understanding by users.
