O presente trabalho visa determinar a eficácia da Web participativa na promoção
dos grupos interessados na literatura nas perspectivas da leitura e da escrita. Para tal
procedeu-se a um estudo de avaliação do sítio Clubede Leituras, projecto desenvolvido
para o Plano Nacional de Leitura. O Clube de Leituras é um espaço relacionado com as
práticas culturais onde os membros formam uma comunidade de prática onde agregam e
partilham informação em hipermédia através da escrita em blogues. É, igualmente,
possível aos membros lerem e partilharem notícias, citações, livros electrónicos e
vídeos. O estudo de caso foi desenvolvido segundo uma metodologia holística com
recurso a uma triangulação de técnicas. A investigação procura determinar em que
medida este género de redes sociais promove, efectivamente, mecanismos de literacia
digital e de aprendizagem informal.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the participative web in the promotion
of groups interested in literature, from the perspectives of reading and writing. To
achieve this, we evaluated the website Clube de Leituras (reading club), a project
developed for the Plano Nacional de Leitura (national reading plan). The Clube de
Leituras is a website related to cultural practiceswhere members form a community of
practice to aggregate and share hypermedia information through writing on blogs. It is
also possible for members to read and share news, quotes, e-books and videos. The case
study was developed using a holistic approach and implements a triangulation of
techniques. This investigation seeks to determine to what extent this kind of social
networks is in fact promoting mechanisms for digital literacy and informal learning.
