O presente trabalho consiste num diagnóstico de necessidades e proposta de um projeto para a promoção estilos de vida mais saudáveis e mais ecológicos em crianças. O levantamento de diagnóstico de necessidades foi realizado com duas turmas de 3º ano (N=30) com idades compreendidas entre os 8 e 9 anos. Os resultados recolhidos mostraram a predominância de comportamentos competitivos face aos cooperativos;
representações do ambiente antropocêntricas e interligadas às temáticas inseridas no currículo escolar; um baixo conhecimento sobre alimentos sazonais e uma reduzida ingestão de frutas e vegetais em relação ao consumo de carne. Estes resultados legitimam a necessidade de intervenção neste domínio.
PROVE'scola é uma proposta de projeto que consiste do desenvolvimento de atividades focadas no processo de uma cooperativa agrícola direcionada aos alunos do primeiro ciclo do ensino básico, mais especificamente do 3º e 4º anos. Destaca-se de outros projetos relacionados com a sustentabilidade, produção agrícola e cooperação por não se focar exclusivamente numa só temática. Opta por desenvolver competências adjacentes às
etapas de uma cooperativa agrícola, recorrendo à aprendizagem cooperativa nas temáticas de produção e consumo saudável e sustentável.

The present study consists of a needs assessment and proposal of a project to promote
health and sustainable behaviors among children. The needs assessment study included
children (N = 30) aged between 8 and 9 years. Results showed the predominance of
competitive behaviors; representations of the environment connected with the topics
inserted in the school curriculum and anthropocentric; low knowledge of seasonal foods
and low intake of fruits and vegetables in comparison to meat consumption. These results
justify the need for a proposal to target the domain described above.
In this regard, the study proposes the PROVE'scola project as a way of dealing with the
promoting health and sustainable behaviours among children. The project consists of the
development of activities focused on the process of creating an agricultural cooperative
directed to the students of the first cycle of elementary school, from 3rd and 4th year. It
stands out from other projects related to sustainability, agricultural production and
cooperation because it does not focus exclusively on one topic. It chooses to develop
skills linked to the different stages of an agricultural cooperative, using cooperative
learning within the scope of the topic of healthy and sustainable production and
consumption.
