José Crespo de Carvalho (JCC) is a Management professor with over 30 years experience both in teaching, researching, managing and consulting higher education institutions and companies.
He has a PhD and Aggregation in Management, an MBA and MSc in Management (Information Systems) (ISCTE), a Post-graduate Diploma in Project Management and an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (IST). Additionally, he completed in presence Executive Education in Negotiation (Stanford University, Harvard University, INSEAD and AIF), in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and in Strategy and Management (Cranfield University and MIT CTL), in Big Data (IE) and in Applied Project Management (Erasmus University).
He has served as Academic Director of NOVA SBE Executive Education and currently he is serving as CEO of ISCTE Executive Education.
He published some scientific papers and 25 ISBN books.
In a nutshell, consultancy and managing companies, besides innovative executive teaching and management in higher education have always been central to define José Crespo de Carvalho as a professional.
Margarida SANTOS is a Research Assistant and a PhD Candidate in Management at the Business Research Unit (BRU) of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL), Portugal. She holds a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, both from ISCTE-IUL, Portugal.
Adept at leveraging analytical skills and innovative thinking to address complex research questions, Margarida plays an integral role in prestigious European-funded projects, such as the IMAFUSA project, which is part of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking and received funding from the European Commission amounting to nearly 1,000,000 euros. Proficient in conducting cutting-edge research, data analysis, and project management, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, she possesses a keen interest in the emerging field of drone technology, governance, and its societal implications. Her research interests also encompass strategy and corporate development, technology management, and decision-support systems.
Teresa Maria Rocha Vieira is an assistant professor at Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL).
Graduated in economics at the University of Coimbra, she holds a specialization title in management and administration, title awarded by the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, Polytechnic Institute of Viseu and Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.
Since the year 2003 she has been developing her activity as a consultant for business and business management. She has been responsible for the elaboration and coordination of several projects in the area of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Commercial and project management consultant.
Previously, she was a partner and CEO of several companies in various sectors of activity.
Dr. Ulpan Tokkozhina is an Invited Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL with specialization in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She holds a PhD in Management degree with thesis in blockchain technology implementation for supply chain management improvement. Ulpan teaches courses on Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management for both Bachelor and Master degree students. She has co-authored several academic articles and book chapters about the impact of novel technologies on supply chain performance, also won Best Paper Award at EAI INTSYS 2022 International Conference. Ulpan was invited as a guest speaker at an international level - including Mexican University Tecnológico de Monterrey, Molde University of Logistics in Norway and Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil. Her current main research interest is novel technologies implementation and use in supply chain context. Currently, Ulpan is involved in a research project "Fish2Fork" curated by EEA Grants and Inov Inesc Inovação, which is aimed on finding novel technological solutions for transparent and sustainable fishing and fish products consumption.
