O presente projeto de intervenção surge como trabalho final curricular do Mestrado Educação e Sociedade. O projeto reflecte a situação e cobertura de menores em circunstâncias de desproteção e vulnerabilidade, aqueles nas nossas sociedades contemporâneas se encontram mais desprotegidos e, em muitas ocasiões, fora da rede de cobertura. Por conseguinte, decidi desenvolver um projeto de intervenção para cobrir esta procura e necessidade social. Embora existam outros centros na região, não existem em número suficiente, há muitos menores na rua ou com as suas famílias, mas em condições de maltrato e desproteção social. O projeto cobre essas expetativas e procura fazê-lo através de uma estratégia inovadora, ao prever a abertura de um centro para menores, com um máximo de 18 vagas e com os correspondentes objetivos específicos e metas para cobrir todas as necessidades desses menores em risco. Apresenta algumas atividades para cumprir esses objetivos, entre as quais uma particularmente inovadora neste contexto, a criação de uma “a horta social”, um lugar dentro das instalações do centro que oferece a oportunidade de ter um espaço próprio para os menores e, ao mesmo tempo, um espaço de conexão entre o menor e o seu mentor/ educador. Assim este projeto propõe a abertura de um Centro Residencial com um espaço para 18 menores nesta situação, na região de Cantabria. Com um projeto educativo concreto, com o qual se pretende a integração social dos menores na comunidade local e o desenvolvimento pessoal, psicológico e social deles. Através de diferentes atividades e rotinas diárias, e com um plano individual de atividades para todos os menores, no qual se especificam os objetivos concretos a nível individual, além de que cada menor terá a ajuda de um educador/mentor de referência. O objetivo deste trabalho apontam está numa boa metodologia de intervenção e recursos, assim como um adequado estudo e conhecimento da sociedade na que convivemos e as características da mesma. E a necessidade dos profissionais do campo da Educação Social para mudar a realidades dos menores em situações de desproteção e vulnerabilidade. Por estes motivos é muito importante um adequado desenvolvimento e implementação deste projeto.

The present intervention project appears as the final curricular work of the Master Education and Society. The project reflects the situation and coverage of minors in circumstances of lack of protection and vulnerability, those in our most neglected contemporary societies, and on many occasions outside the network. That is why I have decided to develop an intervention project to cover this demand and social need. Because there are these centers but not enough, there are many minors on the street, or with their families but in conditions of abuse and social de-protection. From what can be said that this project covers these expectations, it is what makes it innovative in the main strategy and general objective of the project, which is the opening of a center for minors, with a maximum of 18 vacancies and as the corresponding specific objectives and goals to cover all the needs of these minors at risk. Following a few activities to fulfill these goals, within these as a debut and innovative activity in this context, I have designed "the social garden", a place within the facilities of the center that offers the opportunity to have a space for the minors at the same time , A space of connection between the minor and his mentor / educator. Therefore this project provides the opening of a Residential Center with a space for 18 minors in this situation, in the region of Cantabria. With a concrete Educational Project, in which the social integration of minors in the local community and their personal, psychological and social development are intended. Through different activities and daily routines, and with an individual PIA for all minors, where concrete objectives are specified at individual level, and each minor will have the help of a reference educator / mentor. The results point to the importance of a good methodology of intervention and resources, as well as an adequate study and knowledge of the society in which we live and the characteristics of it, we can not turn a blind eye to extreme realities and normalize them. Because professionals in the field of Social Education and the rest of society must work to integrate and extend their arms. That is why lies the importance of developing and implementing this project.
